Today I'll be reviewing a product that I've been using for the past week or two, and it has definitely changed my brow game.
The Salon Perfect Brow Pomade comes with angled brush on one end and a spoolie on the other.
I got it in the shade light brown because my hair color is usually around this range of colors.
The consistency is a combination of cream and powder.
A lot of bloggers and youtubers have been raving about brow pomade, and the most popular one is the Anastasia one. I wasn't too sure if pomade would be for me because I was afraid it will be too hard to work with. I like using brow powder because it's easy to use and easy to fix if I messed up.
I was under the impression that brow pomade would be similar to gel eyeliners since the packaging for both is quite similar and I always hear bloggers/youtbers saying that you should use a light hand when using this type of product.
I can't say much about the higher end brow pomades, but this drugstore one is REALLY easy to work with. It was quick for me to learn how to use it without making my eyebrows looked drawn in. It feels like I'm using normal brow powder, but I have a lot more control. I can also apply more pressure if I want a certain area to be darker or more defined which I can't say I can do the same with normal brow powder unless some wax or water is used.
Because of the cream and powder-like consistency, this product stays on ALL day. Normally, when I use powder, I find that my eyebrows fade throughout the day or is accidentally rubbed off when I nap or something. I have napped with the brow pomade on, and I was surprised that my eyebrows still looked pretty much the same. I never found that I ever had to reapply or touch up my brows which is perfecto! [Edit: It's powder-like because it's starting to dry out]
Here is a close up of my eyebrows so you guys can see how it looks on.
I am in LOVE with brow pomade now, and I am so glad I gave it a try! If you guys want to give this beauty trend a go, then I recommend trying out this Salon Perfect one first since it's only a fraction of the price of the other more known brow pomades.
When my eyebrows are on fleek, so is my life!
A bit dramatic, but it's 2015, so attractive eyebrows are important.
Hoped y'all found this review helpful!
Let me know if you would like to see my eyebrow routine either in video form and/or picture form.
Also, I feel like doing makeup tutorials again like I used to so if you guys have any request then feel free to let me know. I have two makeup tutorials in mind - one is a Springtime one and the other is based off a celebrity. So just let me know what y'all think!
Thanks again for visiting~
The consistency is a little different than the Anastasia one (well, at least by the looks of it.) I really want to try this out after your review! Thank you so much for sharing.

Yeah, I think this one might be more dry/powdery compared to the Anastasia one. I'm not 100% sure since I haven't seen it in person, but only through videos.
DeleteDefinitely give it a try and thanks for stopping by!
