1708 Gallery's 7th Annual inLight Richmond 2014

My bf and his siblings and I dropped by this inLight event last night and here are a few of the "good" pictures we manage to take. Most came out blurry, but some actually turned out pretty cool like the picture below. I think they look like hearts ♡

We actually missed a lot of festivities and light instillation because we had no idea where to go LOL. The main reason we decided to go was because we saw pictures of previous years here. Our expectations were pretty high so we decided to check it out. When we got there, there was already a lot of people. We had no idea where to go the whole time and tried to follow the lights (arrows). We only saw about 3-4 of the 20 art installations, witnessed two performances, and my bf's sister made a lantern. I didn't even know we missed so much until I saw a few of my friends' snapchats and facebook pictures. We thought most of the art installations were the arrow lights...since there were so many of them...so we were slightly disappointed... but we were wrong! There was actually a lot of other ones which you guys can check out here if you would like. We should have explored some more! 

I REALLY WISHED I SAW THE LOTUS LIGHTS. 

THAT'S THE INSTALLATION THAT I REGRET NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE IN PERSON SINCE IT LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL IN THE PICTURES.

*Sigh* Even though we missed a lot, it was still a nice experience. Maybe next year will be better since we have a better idea of this event now haha.

Oh yeah! Since it was a light show thing, I did record some clips. I might edit this post later when I decide whether we not to make a video out of them.
