July 4th BBQ + MOTD + OOTD

Hello!

My eye area has been really dry lately so I'm really sorry that you guys are looking at this so closely.

I know it's not attractive at all haha.

For this look you can opt for a red lip, too, but I felt like it was too bold for me so I stayed with my pink/nude lip color instead.

LOL the red lips makes me think of the Rimmel makeup commercials that's like "Get the London look" *hair flips*.

I felt a little like a suburban mom with my outfit, but eh~ I still liked it LOL.

So for July 4th which for those that might not know is Independence Day for the USA and usually people here celebrate it by going to the beach (which is what I did last year) or having a barbecue. We would dress in the flag's colors -red, white, blue and watch or play with fireworks. 

This year I went to my cousin's place and had a little family barbecue. They were vegetarians so we only barbecued potatoes, corns, and kabobs. You can put anything on kabobs so we put green/yellow/orange peppers, pineapple, cucumber, and various soy foods.

I forgot to take a picture of the potatoes that we topped off with fake bacon and cheese~

After eating, I played Taboo with my usual peeps until my bf drop by after work to take me to see the new Transformer movie. Surprisingly, the movie was about three hours long, but it didn't feel that way. I thought the movie was pretty awesome, and I recommend it for those that are thinking about watching it!
