Hey guys!
I finally had time today to take pictures of my hair. I would have posted these pictures sooner, but things popped up that prevented me from camwhoring haha.
Remember in my last hair update that I will let you guys know if I ended up toning my hair? Well, I did! I just redid my roots and then used toner to get the color I have now. The toner took out all of the yellow in my hair!
The lower half of my hair is still a bit darker than the top, but I don't think there's anything I can do about that. I tried bleaching it but it pretty much stayed the same shade. I think it's dead from all the hair dyes I used before. I can't wait until my hair grows out so I can just chop off the bottom section HAHA. You can see in the first and second photo where it is darker. I think I'm going to stick to ash blonde for a while before going darker. I really like the blonde I achieved.
Oh, if you guys where wondering what I used.
I used Wella Color Charm in "Lightest Ash Blonde (T18)"

I would recommend using one for sensitive scalp because this one burned my scalp. It was itchy and tingling and it kinda burned, but hey, I got this on sale so yeah.
When you used the toner, it should turn purple. The purple takes out the yellow in the hair. It's basically like what you do in art art; you mix the complements to get a neutral tone. I didn't shampoo my hair for a couple of days and only used conditioner so the smell of the toner was in my hair until I finally shampooed.
If you guys have any questions feel free to ask! I'll answer them to the best of my abilities.
Also, did you guys like the hair do I did for this post? I plan on making a tutorial for it, but don't know if you guys are interested. Please let me know if you guys would like me to do it!

Your hair is lovely. The color fits you so well. :) I'm interested on reading a tutorial if you decide to make one.
ReplyDeletethank you and yes, i'll make a tutorial!
DeleteYou are probably one of the few Asians that can pull of blonde hair. :) How the heck does it not turn orange? I have the ombre (which I will be chopping off soon) and it turned orange. :/
ReplyDeletehaha thanks! i think the reason is because my natural hair color has a beige/yellow undertone. most asian has a red undertone which causes the brassy, orangeness if you bleach it. if you want to get rid of the orangeness, try a toner with a bluer color to cancel out the orange.
DeleteOh wow, you are even blonder than before! Blonde looks so good on you.
ReplyDeletehehe thanks!
DeleteYou look good in blonde! I really love this color on Asians, I am thinking of dyeing my hair the same color for when school starts. Would you recommend to go to a salon for it?
ReplyDeleteyeah, definitely go to a saloln! the only reason why I dyed it myself is because I'm too poor to go to a salon aha...
DeleteAhhh I'm going to try and achieve this color next year and then go to white T_T My hair is going to be so dead, how are you conditioning it?
ReplyDeletei just use my normal conditioner, but leave it in longer than what i normally do when i didn't bleach my hair. i also use argan oil at my ends to make it smoother and shinier. a few posts back i made a review on the argan oil i used :)
DeleteIt looks really nice! I don't think I could pull off blonde, but I really think it suits you :)
ReplyDeletethe most beautiful face which i ever seen
ReplyDeleteWow you look so pretty with your hair! I am also a late bloomer when it comes to hair too. As of this time, I am in doubt coloring my hair since I am afraid that it will be damaged or so but I'd love to try.For more details visit look at here now
