Sorry that I haven't posted in in more than a week.
I've been mainly waiting for things to arrive and it's been cloudy/rainy lately so it's hard to take nice pictures.
Today I decided to make a post about what I normally use for my skin care.
Before showing you the products, I want to let you guys know that I have normal to dry skin. I also get a little redness on my cheeks. I also have very mild acne so I have a lot of blackheads and white heads. I get blackheads on and around my nose, and I get whiteheads near my eyes. I also get the monthly pimples around my nose, too.
This is what I use to take off my makeup if I wore makeup that day.
I've been using this for a really long time, too.
Before, I used their makeup wipes by Neutrogena, but I found that those wipes don't do a really good job removing eye makeup and mascara so after I was done with those I started using this.
I think it works pretty well.
You have to shake it first before using it and afterwards you need to rinse with water.
Usually after I finish rinsing with water I have to go back and use this remover again because there's still makeup around the eye area and I rinse one more time.
I think the reason for that is because when the makeup remover and the water reacts together, it gets more of the eye makeups out like in between your lashes.
Yea, my sister and I used most of it already, but we got another one. This last us for a pretty long time, too. I want to say between 3-6 months. We don't wear much makeup besides eye makeup so it probably varies from people to people.
This is my favorite facial wash. ♥
I've been using this Aveeno for about half a year or so? I don't remember. This is just what I've been using for a very, very long time LOL. It's almost out. I wash my face with it every day, and I usually use about 1 1/2 pumps.
Before, I didn't really wash my face every day due to laziness and the things I use would always make my skin feels dry and stripped afterwards. However, after I started using this, I found myself wanting to use it everyday. (It's probably because of the foam ⌒_⌒). To ensure that I do use it everyday, I put it in a little basket thing and wash my face every night when I shower.
It's very gentle so my skin doesn't feel dry or stripped afterwards, and it really does clear blemishes really well.
It does an excellent job clearing those annoying white heads which I found out after using it for a while.
I love how it comes out foamy, and the fragrance is really light. It smells really fresh and sometimes like sprite (or maybe that's just me haha).
I'm sure everybody has heard of this product. I don't know if it really does clear blackheads, but I use it mostly for exfoliating. I use this once a week.
DO NOT USE THIS NEAR YOUR EYES!
I accidentally got some in my eye and it stung like crazy! It also hurt A LOT because there's also the grainy things in it.
I did a review on this product a long time ago and you can find it here.
I don't use this product that often. I use it about twice a month?
It's almost like a clay mask but its "specialty" is to target and loosen blackheads so most of the time I just use it across my nose.
Whenever I see a lot of blackheads on my nose I would use the finger method to get all the nasty junk out and sometimes I would use this mask to "clean" out the rest of the blackheads. Otherwise I would just splash cold water on my nose. I don't really use toners because I feel like cold water works basically the same way.
Sometimes if I have trouble getting the blackheads out, I would use this mask first to loosen the blackheads and then use the finger method to get everything out and then splash cold water on my nose.
After cleansing my face, I would sometime use moisturizers or lotions. I don't really use them unless I have to because again I am a lazy person LOL.
Yep yep.
Did you guys like the little doodles and stuff on the pictures? LOL.
I was so bored so I drew on them (≧∇≦).
Anyway.
Thanks for reading~

DeleteI heard the Apricot scrub is really bad for your skin.
ReplyDeleteReally? I've been using it once a week for about half a year and my skin is still pretty okay. Well, I bought a new facial cleanser/exfoliator so I don't think I'll be using the apricot scrub anymore. I think it's about to expire anyways haha.
DeleteI never knew it could expire but apparently it tears your pores and makes them bigger.
DeleteO_O. I didn't know that, and I thought all face cleansers expire within 2 years or when they start to smell funny.
DeleteI also prefer to use facial cleansers with scrubs to ensure that no dirt or oil will stay in my face. With all the pollution that we come in contact with every day, it is really important to use products that will help cleanse our face or else it might cause skin problems. Use these products properly and you’re on your way to keeping your skin healthy and glowing.

We have different types of skin. Others have sensitive skin, others have not. If it works on you, it doesn’t mean that it will work on everyone. Nevertheless, you should keep on finding the best skincare product or treatment for you. :’)

Well, I can say that I’m fortunate for not having a sensitive skin. Unlike others, I don’t have to use a lot of skin care products; just a facial cleanser, a moisturizer, and a night cream will do. Um, sometimes, I use masks to draw some impurities out of my pores.
