Artistry Haul & Review

So here are the products from my bf's IBO thing. If you guys know about this brand then you probably know what he's doing LOL. So yea, let's get started.

Here are the 3 products my bf gave me (from left to right):

• Lipstick
• Lipgloss
• Moisturizer

Now for the review of this Artistry Lipstick

I actually like this color on me. I've been trying to find a red lipstick that matches my skin tone and this works for me! At first when you put it on, it looks REALLY red, but if you do the trick with the napkin it looks better (⌒_⌒). It glides on pretty easily especially if you wear chaptstick before applying this lipstick on your lips. Sometimes if your chaptstick hasn't completely set onto your lips then the red lipstick will slip and slide a bit.

The very first time I tried it on I didn't have any chaptstick on and it was easy to use. It was a little messy, but I think it's because red lipsticks are hard to get just right since it's such a bold color. 

Is it long lasting? I'm not sure. The longest I've worn it is like 3 hours and it lasted that long. You might have to do touch ups if you eat, but I think that's normal for basically all lip products.

Is it moisturizing? I can't say, but it doesn't dry our your lips so it probably is. 

Oh, it's not sticky! And it doesn't have a fragrance which I like. It smells like nothing LOL. 

The finish can be shiny (not shimmery) or matte depending how you like to wear it. I like wearing it matte. Sometimes I will use lip gloss if I want to have some shine. 

Artistry Light Up Lipgloss

It has a built in mirror on the side so you don't have to search in your bag for one to look at while applying.

Okay, here's the coolest thing about this lip gloss.

 Yes! It lights up!  (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

I got it in the color "Confetti" because I wanted a light color to just apply on top of my lipsticks or to just use it alone since I mostly wear "natural makeup". This is the second lip gloss I own. I'm not a big lip gloss user so yea. The other one I have is a Rimmel London lip gloss.

This lip gloss has a scent to it. It smells like toothpaste LOL! I really didn't expect that. I don't know if they all smell like this or just the one I have, but it was interesting. It took me a while to figure out what fragrance it was. I was thinking it was mint, but it had a little sweet scent, too. I guess the best way to say it is that it smells like peppermint. It's not too bad. It feel like you just finished brushing your teeth ◕‿◕.

It is sticky since it's a lip gloss, and it gives a little tingling feeling, but it might be the peppermint fragrance that gives that effect. The fragrance does fade.

It is shimmery, but not too much. It mostly looks like a clear gloss.

It makes my lips feel nice~

Hydrating Lotion

This is a moisturizer that I use when I finish washing my face sometimes or when my face feels dry. I have dry to normal skin so this helps hydrate my face  (◑◡◐).

It's white as you can see, and the consistency is really liquidity. A little goes a long way! I've been using this for about...2 months? The tube is still pretty full.

I don't usually use the amount pictured above. I just accidentally got too much and the finish is not like the last picture either. I just wanted to show you how much it covers.
