COLOR & DESIGN:  (5)
As you can see from the close-up shots of these circle lenses, these lenses are made of three different colors. The blues, purples, and violets in the radial design blend so well with my brown eyes. The colors definitely gives my eyes more dimension. The outer ring looks almost black in the photos, but I assure you that in person it's a dark blue/navy color. The overall look of these lenses is a dark blue.

ENLARGEMENT (5)
These lenses are 14.2mm, which for those of you that have been following me for a while know that this is my absolute favorite! These do appear a bit bigger in my eyes than other 14.2mm ones because of the darker limbal (outer) ring, but because the ring is not black, it is not as harsh. Love that these don't over power my eyes too much like 15mm ones.

COMFORT (5)
Very comfortable! I can wear them all day. Nothing else I can say. Just be smart when you are wearing them just like another other pairs. If your eyes feel dry just add a few eye drops and if discomfort continues, then take them off and see what's up.

OVERALL:  (5)
These lenses are beautiful!! It's been a while since I've worn blue circle lenses and these remind me a lot of the classic GEO Angel Blue's (← linked review here). I highly recommend these for those that want to wear it everyday or for cosplay. These do require you to wear some eye makeup. I find that circle lenses that has a thick limbal (outer) ring, usually looks best with heavy eye makeup or with a thick black eyeliner look. It just ties the whole look together so you won't appear bug-eyed or alien-like.

Thanks Klenspop for letting me try these out!

OOTD: Brick and Denim

October 20, 2015

There's something about brick walls and denim that screams Fall to me. Anyone else feel the same way? I love how it's getting cooler and I can wear my jeans more comfortably now.
I've been looking a good pair of blue jeans FOR THE LONGEST TIME. I got a pair from AA, but it fitted way too small so I was really happy to find a similar pair at H&M one day - ON SALE, too! These fit me like a glove and I absolutely love it! I don't know, out of all the seasons, I feel like Fall/Autumn is the perfect time for rockin' denim.

What's your go-to piece for Fall/Autumn?

Haute Happy Hour

October 15, 2015
Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Haute Happy Hour event which I was invited by Megan of @sweet_sauce_blog via instagram. The venue was at MTK in the Fan area of RVA.
This was my first time attending this type of local social event. There were two pop-up shops at the venue so I checked out some of their items.
SweetestStitch had some really trendy and fashionable pieces. I was there for a while going through everything. Unfortunately, I didn't get anything since my size wasn't available for that particular item.

The other pop-up shop was Claville.
I was able to chat with her a bit and found out that her shop was on a fashion truck! I don't know, but that sounded pretty cool to me. The items she carried are more classic and mature. I adored the clutches she had on display.

After checking out each pop-up shop, I grabbed a few bites to eat and explored the venue a bit.
This was my first time attending one of these social events. It was pretty slow in the beginning and my bf and I couldn't stay long since we had another event to go to, but it was pretty interesting. I know I mentioned before how I should get more involved in the fashion community in my area so I guess this is one of my first stepping stones. I still felt a bit like an awkward turtle at this event since I'm quite shy and introverted by nature, but I'm trying...haha.

Don't forget to check out my newest video!
