Today I will be review a CC Cusion by ATrue.

This is a makeup cushion that contains black tea leaves. This product is supposed to help make the skin look more radiant. It also firms, hydrates, tones, brightens, and boost your skin tone.
Convenient button to pop up the compact
Comes with a nice facial cushion
You can see the sheen and dewiness when it is blended in
There isn't a significant skin tone difference since this shade matches my skin quite well, but you can tell the difference around my eye area. This CC Cushion evened out my skintone and covered some redness. You can't tell in the picture, but in person it gives a very natural, healthy, and dewy complexion.
It's very easy to blend and has a slight makeup smell which goes away after a few minutes. This foundation feels light on the skin and has high SPF so it's perfect for the summer! It is also build-able so if you want more coverage you can apply another layer on the spot or area you need (for me it's my dark circles).

Here is a quick list to summarize this product in my opinion:
feels light on the skin
matches my skin tone really well
enhances my skin tone
protects my skin from the sun

makeup scent - a bit too much for me, but it does go away later
only two shades so those that have darker skintones won't be able to try it out

Thank you ibuybeauti for letting me try this CC Cushion. I have been intrigued with this beauty product for a while and really wanted to try it out. I'm so glad I did!
If any of you are interested, you can get it at ibuybeauti.
They're actually having a promotion right now where you can get this CC Cushion and a free refill!

Hoped you guys liked this review.

Food Adventures | Lamplighter

March 22, 2015
We went to this little cafe to grab some brunch with the 4 of us. This was most of our first time trying this place. It was quite chill and hipster-y.
"How come mine doesn't look as pretty?" (Right)

French Toast with fruits and Golden Milk Latte

The aftermath

The french toast was pretty good; the texture was drier than I expected. I'm also used to eating french toast with the thick, square bread slice whereas this place makes it with English muffin? I am not sure, but it was something new. I should have gotten something more savory since savory foods can usually never go wrong for me, but I enjoy trying new things. :) Also, I wasn't too fond of my drink. I thought it would be more like a milk tea latte, but it was more gingery and chai-like. I should have asked what was in it before I ordered, but hey, at least I know what it taste like now haha. I ended up giving it to my cousin.

After eating, we drew something on the chalkboard wall.

"Will twerk 4 coffee"

F21 Jacket | Pacsun Jeans | Pacsun Top | H&M shoes
I didn't draw the girls. It was already there beforehand so I decided to draw what one of the girl thought...
Finn & Jake!
Overall, this was a pretty nice place to chill and grab a bite! The service people were really nice, and did a good job cleaning up the area. We were there for about a hour and the tables around us were wiped at least 2-3 times even when nobody used it. I'm glad I got to try a few new things which was one of my New Year Resolution this year - go on more adventures/try out new places. (Speaking of which, I haven't been really doing a good job, but I'm trying aha).

Salon Perfect Brow Pomade Light Brown Review

March 19, 2015
Today I'll be reviewing a product that I've been using for the past week or two, and it has definitely changed my brow game.

The Salon Perfect Brow Pomade comes with angled brush on one end and a spoolie on the other.

I got it in the shade light brown because my hair color is usually around this range of colors.

The consistency is a combination of cream and powder.

A lot of bloggers and youtubers have been raving about brow pomade, and the most popular one is the Anastasia one. I wasn't too sure if pomade would be for me because I was afraid it will be too hard to work with. I like using brow powder because it's easy to use and easy to fix if I messed up.

I was under the impression that brow pomade would be similar to gel eyeliners since the packaging for both is quite similar and I always hear bloggers/youtbers saying that you should use a light hand when using this type of product.

I can't say much about the higher end brow pomades, but this drugstore one is REALLY easy to work with. It was quick for me to learn how to use it without making my eyebrows looked drawn in. It feels like I'm using normal brow powder, but I have a lot more control. I can also apply more pressure if I want a certain area to be darker or more defined which I can't say I can do the same with normal brow powder unless some wax or water is used.

Because of the cream and powder-like consistency, this product stays on ALL day. Normally, when I use powder, I find that my eyebrows fade throughout the day or is accidentally rubbed off when I nap or something. I have napped with the brow pomade on, and I was surprised that my eyebrows still looked pretty much the same. I never found that I ever had to reapply or touch up my brows which is perfecto! [Edit: It's powder-like because it's starting to dry out]

Here is a close up of my eyebrows so you guys can see how it looks on.

I am in LOVE with brow pomade now, and I am so glad I gave it a try! If you guys want to give this beauty trend a go, then I recommend trying out this Salon Perfect one first since it's only a fraction of the price of the other more known brow pomades.

When my eyebrows are on fleek, so is my life!
A bit dramatic, but it's 2015, so attractive eyebrows are important.
