Uniqso Circle Lens: Puffy Three Tone Violet Review

September 24, 2014
Today I will be sharing a circle lens review from one of my favorite circle lens sites - Uniqso
They are known for their cute packaging so of course I will have to include a picture of it, too.
I bought these lenses a long time ago and finally opened it up. I have previously tried this series and it's one of my favs! You can check out my review on the Puffy 3 Tone Grey and Puffy 3 Tone Blue. This time it will be on the Violet ones! I've never tried violet circle lenses before so this is my first time.

Taken at direct, natural window lighting and with flash on the last one

DESIGN&COLOR★★★★★
The design is a radial burst that blends in well with all the colors shown (grey, violet, and gold). This is my favorite circle lens design because the colors blend together really well, and it looks the most natural. The color of these lenses is a gorgeous purple/violet. Depending on the lighting, the color ranges from a dark grey-ish purple/violet or very vibrant purple/violet.

ENLARGEMENT★★★★☆
These are around 14.5mm. The enlargement is slightly more than what I usually wear, but it still give a "natural" enlargement. The faint grey outline of these lenses make it look less alien-ish. Because of how it looks in my eyes, I need to wear make-up to balance out the overwhelming enlargement.

COMFORT★★★★★
The Puffy 3 tone series of one of the most comfortable 14.5mm circle lenses series I've tried so of course these lenses will not disappoint! I haven't worn contacts or circle lenses in well over a month, and I was able to wear these lenses for the whole day (~ 8 hours) with no problem. They felt so comfortable and I was so amazed of how clear my vision can actually be haha.

Taken indoors with natural window lighting from the side

OVERALL★★★★★/☆ (4.5)
The only reason I gave it 4.5/5 is because the enlargement was a bit to much for my liking. I prefer lenses that are a lot more natural and will look okay with little to no makeup, but other than that little preference of mine, I definitely recommend these lenses and the other colors in this series. They have a "natural" enlargement and the color pay off of the lenses are great! The violet actually shows up in my brown eyes really well. They are perfect for cosplays and everyday wear, too. The comfort is also one of the best for the size. If you are a beginner wearer and want to try a bigger enlargement, definitely give this series a try!

Even though these lenses were not sponsored by Uniqso, I thought it would be nice to let you guys know where I bought these. Also, I have a discount code for you all to use which is SUY10 that will give you 10% off of your entire purchase! I do not get anything from people using this code, it's just a great freebie!

Hoped this review was helpful!

Btw, Halloween is coming up, and I'm hoping to do a few makeup tutorials before it's here. If you guys have any suggestions please leave a comment! I seriously have no idea what to be for Halloween this year or what makeup tutorials to make so any help will be appreciated!

OOTD: Birthday Suit + Celebration

September 19, 2014
"I dunno about you, but I'm feeling twenty-two!~"

It was my birthday yesterday!
H&M hat | H&M jumpsuit | Charlotte Russe heels
I have been meaning to find an excuse to wear this jumpsuit, and I finally did! I had originally wanted to wear a royal blue shift dress since my birthstone is sapphire, but I had no luck finding one. Despite that, I'm really happy with this alternative since I think it fits my style/aesthetics perfectly!
As a few of you might be able to tell, I love mixing masculine and feminine looks together and this outfit is no different. A jumpsuit is usually quite a masculine silhouette, but the satin/silky material, pattern, and thin straps adds femininity. I also paired a bowler hat and thin-strapped heels to this look to create that balance as well.

I didn't have much planned for my birthday since a lot of people were busy with work or school. I spent my morning with my cousin Diana.
We went to Ulta to get the Too Face Shadow Insurance from the "21 Days of Beauty Steals" Event and for my free birthday gift.
Afterwards, we dropped by Starbucks to redeem my free birthday drink/food. Since the buy one holiday drink and get the second one free was going on I decided to get a food item while Diana got the drinks.

We went back to her place after and did our little shoot.

"What's over there?"
"Nothing. Ha-ha~"

After shooting, we chilled for a bit and then headed to my house for my birthday dinner and cake! I accidentally left my camera at Diana's house so I couldn't take any nicer pictures; smartphone quality will have to do!
To end my birthday, bf and his siblings took me to the movies since I've been wanting to watch Guardians of the Galaxy; it was also the last day that it will be shown in theaters so I'm happy we went in time!
I absolutely loved the movie! It was so funny and great!
All I have to say is..."I am Groot." That is all.

Thank you to those that sent me birthday wishes. I appreciate them a lot, and it's secretly (well, not so secretly anymore) one of my favorite things about my birthday because it shows that those people cared enough to send me it haha. SO THANK YOU!!

Birthday Bash + Brunch (Night to Day Outfits)

September 12, 2014
Hi guys! Can you believe it's already September?! As you can probably guess from the title of this post, this is my birthday month! My birthday is on September 18th :).

Last weekend my fellow September babies and I had a birthday bash and invited ours friends to a friend's place to have a party. It was a very last minute thing, but I'm glad it worked out! We all had a blast! Hence why I didn't have time to post last week. (Sorry!)

I thought I'll share my birthday bash outfit and my brunch outfit from the next day.

Birthday Bash
H&M Top | Ebay Bottoms

Brunch the next day
Forever21 everything except for Name Plate Necklace from oNecklace
Photographer: Diana Y.

As you can see, I don't wear much color haha. I pretty much kept the same color scheme - white top and black bottoms since that's my go-to color combo. This is actually the first time I include two outfits in one post. What do you think? It's kind of like a Day-to-Night thing :).

Random note: I recently realized that I know a lot of people that have September birthdays and/or are Virgos. I thought that was interesting...maybe same horoscope signs just naturally attract each other haha.
