First Friday

2:33 PM

Hey guys!
So sorry I couldn't manage to post this in time yesterday, but that means I'll be making two posts today!

Well, my friend hit me up to go to First Friday which is basically an art walk down a street to see art galleries, artsy little store, boutiques, and restaurants.

Here we are standing in front of her store's truck. Inside where some of the pieces from the store she works at. It was really cute! I liked the idea a lot.

Since my friend had to stay there to work, bf and I went and did the art walk.

One of the first things we saw was this.
Isn't it grand?! I love it!

Then, we came upon these little booths with handmade decor and jewelry.

I never thought about making flowers out of bottle caps. It was pretty neat!

This was one of my favorite booths.

I spent quite sometime staring at these pendants because they looked so nice. I can't believe these are all handmade. I love all of the Disney motifs. There were more on the other side, but someone was standing there so I couldn't get there to admire those as long haha. I didn't buy any because it was too pricey for me. Also, I don't think I will wear them that much, but I think it would be a nice thing to collect.

The first gallery we went to was Quirk Gallery.
This one was my favorite because it had a lot of cute knick-knacks

After this place, we went to other galleries and such, but none could compared to the first one. We did take a pictures of a few things we thought were cool.

We thought this lonely little tree was cute.

Isn't this cool and weird and pretty at the same time? HAHA

I love art work like this, where you need to stand at a certain spot to see it correctly.

Thought I'll throw in a selfie with bf because we didn't take any pictures together.

First Friday was fun! Kinda wished there were more galleries and such to see, but it was still nice.

Hope you guys like this post!

  2. As long as I've been in Richmond, I've never gone to first Friday. I keep saying I will but I always forget to. LOL Sandy come drag me out of my dark hole and get me to go to one of these sometime. It seems really cool.

    1. LOL. It's nice once in a while, but it gets pretty boring if you go too much. The last time I went was like freshman year.
