[Requested] Tutorial: Dara's makeup in "I'm the Best" MV

December 29, 2012
Hello! Sorry for not updating for a while.
Today I decided to do a makeup tutorial. It was requested by one of my followers who wanted me to do a tutorial on Dara's look from the MV "I'm the Best". I was actually really happy to do this look because it's so pretty! Also, I feel like it won't be that difficult since Dara and I have the same type of eyelids ^^.

Here are the reference pictures I used.

Here's what I used:
(not pictured Urban Decay Primer Potion)

Let's get started!

  1. First, I primed my eyelids like usual. Then, I used my finger to apply some bronze eyeshadow on my eyelids.
  2. Then, take a gray eyeshadow and create a wing.
  3. Next, take a black eyeliner and line your eyes. Make sure it is thick like how it is pictured and don't wing it out.
  4. Then, tightlight the top and bottom.
  5. Take a small brush and smudge out the eyeliner and add some gray eyeshadow to intensify it. After that, add some fake lashes and you're done!
Here's the final look:

And here are some camwhore shots LOL.

LOL in this picture I was trying to copy Dara's pose for the first reference picture.

After looking at these camwhore shots, I realized that I didn't make the bottom lash line intense enough so be sure to darken it more if you do try this tutorial.

Hope you guys like this!

I wore this last week. I actually liked a lot of the outfits I wore last week, but didn't get proper pictures of them besides this one. So here it is~

 Excuse my dry lips /)_-.
I haven't been drinking enough water lately so I'm a bit dehydrated.

 Arm candy~
This was the first time I wore this headband out. LOVE IT!

As you guys can see, I do most of my camwhoring during the ride to school LOL.

I had my sister take this picture with my instaxmini.

Puffy grey circle lenses: Uniqso
Black spiked headband: eBay
White top with shoulder holes and cross: Forever 21
Black matte pleather leggings: JCPenney
The first two bracelets: presents from bf
Black men's watch: Walmart
[Not pictured] Black flats: Charlotte Russe

Hopefully, I'll have time this week to take pictures or do a video haul of the stuff I got for Black Friday. I have an idea of how I'm going to do it, but it'll be quite time consuming so we'll see.

Anyway, thanks for reading~

[Requested] Ulzzang Park Sora Hair Tutorial

December 10, 2012
So here's the long awaited hair tutorial of Park Sora. If you guys want to see a Park Sora inspired look visit my makeup tutorial here. :)

Here's how my hair looks without me doing anything to it. It's so messy...
The star is on my face because it looks chubby LOL.

Step 1: Spray heat protectant to your hair

Step 2: Grab your bangs and a straightener and curl it back like so

Step 3: Spray hair spray to keep it in place

Step 4: Make your hair wavy.
I'm just turning my hair straightener back and forth to create a wave

When you're done, it'll probably look something like this.

 TADA! All wavy now!

Step 5: Just fix up your hair the way you like it and we're done!

Hope you guys like this tutorial!

[Sponsored] Angelcontacts Circle Lens Review: GEO Nudy Brown

December 09, 2012
Hello! Here is the second pair of circle lenses that Angel Contacts has sponsored me to review.

Again, here is the packaging.
I just can't help but say again that I really like the packaging! It's so neat and organized.

Anyway. Here's how the lenses look with and without flash:

Here's how it looks when I wear them.

With makeup and without flash

Diameter: 14.2mm
Base curve: 8.6mm
Water content: 38%
Duration: up to 1 year after opening

DESIGN: ★★★☆☆
I've always wanted to try the nudy series, but I was afraid that it'll look too fake. The design is kind of pixelated and has a light brown limbal ring on the outside. The center is darker and has more "pixels" and the middle section between the center and the outer has fewer "pixels" and lighter, and the outer layer has darker "pixels" like the center part. I think this design makes my eyes look more reptile-like and give my eyes a sparkley-look. It definitely has the halo effect.

COLOR: ★★★★☆
I love the color! It's a very nice muted, beige brown color. It lightens my eyes and give me these watery-looking eyes.

I love this enlargement! It's very natural. I personally think this is the best size for my eyes.

COMFORT: ★★★★★
I wore these circle lenses for the whole day and my eyes still feel fine! I feel like this is thinner than the Angel blue ones, but it could be just me.
 Excused my chapped lips...

OVERALL: ★★★★☆
I really like these lenses! I've been wearing them quite a few times already since I opened it around Thanksgiving? The fact that these are beige/brown colored lenses makes me a bit washed out since my hair color is kind of light and so is my skin tone so I would usually where darker eye makeup to bring out my eyes more. I've gotten compliments on them. They look pretty natural, but if people come up close then it does look fake.

If you like these lenses and want to buy them, please visit AngelContacts or buy clicking the banner here!
I have a discount code [sandy] for 5% off :).

Hope this review was helpful!

Wearable Arts

December 08, 2012

I haven't post in a while, but I have a feeling that I'll be posting more frequently really soon! ^-^

Well, first off, this post is going to be a little different. It will mostly be these projects that I've been working on and have completed.

I entered the Art for Intimates Contest where we can decorate a bra or boxer to be auctioned off. I chose the bra obviously. They were going to award a shopping spree at an art store for the intimate wear that placed. I received second place! Well, I was kind of the third place because there was a tie for first place, but I'm still second place haha. The two first-place people got their bra auctioned off for $50 each. I came close. My bra was auctioned off for $45 :). It wasn't bad since I did it the day before I turned it in, and I used things that I found around the house. I wasn't expecting to place, but I'm really happy I did!

I received a $50 shopping spree and I basically spent it all on these double-sided brush markers. The colors were so pretty! I also got some modeling clay because I'm planning on being crafty this winter break.

  • Sharpie Pen
  • Sharpie Marker
  • X-acto knife blades
  • Pentel Sketch Pen

  •  Tom Bow double-side brush markers

  • Modeling clay
The second wearable art item that I help make was this dress :).
This is for my group project in my fashion class. I was the model because I was small so we didn't need a lot of materials. Here's a close up shot of me when my group members were wrapping me up.
Here's how the dress look without the hoop.

Here's the final look!
I whole heels for the actual presentation.

Here's are the mirror bracelets that another group member made. It's so pretty!

I didn't take these pictures except for the one of the bracelets.
If you guys want to see more pictures check out the blog we made just for this project :).
Our group got an A for this project! ^^
